Campus Revo teams organized Christmas events!

For the past week, 2 Campus Revo groups in Penang had organized events to share about the true meaning of Christmas. KDU Campus Revo team organized a "Facing The Giants" Movie Night & SEGi Revo team organized a SEGi Revo Christmas Party in both of the campuses.
We, Re-EVOLve crew were excited to help out both the Campus Revo teams for their events & we went to support them in every area that we can. It was a great time as we believed that many seeds were sowed into the students and lecturers' life during the both events & they were blessed.

We saw 110+ students & lecturers coming together for the SEGi Revo Christmas Party and even the principal, Mr.Jeffrey was there to give his support towards this movement. KDU Movie Night saw more than 20+ students & their principal was there to support this event as well. Both the events went well & many more students & lecturers are knowing about what Campus Revo is all about and we pray that this vision will continue to spread in campuses around Penang.
May the revolution continue to spread in these both campuses & bring a change to KDU and SEGi! To the both Campus Revo teams, keep up the great job and continue to Show Up, Stand Up & Speak Up!

Recess Revo Updates #11: Wildfire@RR P.A.R.T.Y 2!

Attention to all Recess Revo members, Wildfire@RR P.A.R.T.Y 2 is happening on the 23rd January 2010 at Saturday Night Live @ Excel Point Community Church! Attention to all Recess Revo members, Wildfire Party 2 is here! Book your dates on the 23rd January 2010 and the P.A.R.T.Y will be starting at 7.00pm!

There's gonna be SPECIAL performances, POWER-PACKED worship and an AWESOME message specially for you by our Revo speaker, Pr.Sam Surendran. We'll also be giving out RM200 to the school with the MOST registered Recess Revo members attending this P.A.R.T.Y! All the Recess Revo coordinators will be receiving an email about that soon.
There will also be new & special T-shirts, badges & Revo merchandises on sale only on the day itself. They are only limited so you've wouldn't wanna miss out on this because it's gonna be awesome! Let's kick start 2010 with a bang and bring the revolution to our schools!

Recess Revo Updates #10

Hey revolutionists out there! It's been a while since there is any update and everybody was busy with their exam period. Now, most of you all are already having your holidays and for those who are still sitting for SPM & STPM, we are praying for you all! Keep it going and continue to trust in the Lord!
Anyway, it's time to break the silence and there's a very important announcement for all Recess Revo members! There's gonna be another Wildfire Party happening on the 23rd January 2010 so do book that date for an exciting and power-packed evening for all of you! This time, it's gonna be BIGGER and there's gonna be something special coming up. More details will be coming up soon on that.

Yep, the holiday season is here and we would like to wish all of you Happy Holidays! However, do not forget to continue to Show Up, Stand Up, & Speak Up even in this holiday season. Remember, you are not only a REVOLUTION when you're in school but you're one everywhere you go! You can still do random act of kindness and showing God's LOVE to everyone around you. Recess Revo is not only an activity in school but it's a cause for you to live for that is to BE THE REVOLUTION!
Our prayer is that you all will continue to live according to Recess Revo's tagline that is to Show Up, Stand Up & Speak Up for God. Remember, you are only THE Revolution when you are BEING the Revolution and we are all human BEINGs. So let's continue to BE the Revolution and impact the lives around us!

Recess Revo Updates #9

Dear Campus Revolutionaries,

The Malaysian Federal Constitution, Article 11 (1) states that :
“Every person has the right to profess (to declare, teach and affirm in public) and practice his religion (meet to pray, worship, carry out acts stated in holy texts or doctrine) and, subject to Clause (4), to propagate it (preach, evangelise, invite to participate).”

And if you must know, Clause (4) is the law which limits our right to share the gospel to Muslims.

Did you know that the above 19-word sentence guarantees your right as a Malaysian student to start Campus Revolution groups in every campus and every state of Malaysia? This means that no single college adminstration, university administration, student council, police officer, army personnel, vice-chancellor, dean, lecturer, security guard, not even the Prime Minister himself can stop/ hinder/ ban and restrict any single one of you from doing Campus.

Do you know that if anyone so as much threatens action against you when you meet to pray for one another, intercede for your campus or be led by the Holy Spirit to bless your school and friends, they are already on the wrong side of law? In other words, every Campus Revolutionary is sanctioned and protected by the most supreme law in Malaysia to do Campus Revo. No one in the face of this country can rob that right from you. And if that's not enough, guess what? The creator of the heavens and the earth, Yahweh, Jesus, Holy Spirit - God Himself is on your side.

So if there is no way for the authorities, campus or otherwise, to stop you from glorifying God from Monday to Friday; my prayer is that you won’t allow other things like indiscipline, exams, laziness, peer-pressure, fear and your flesh stop you from gaining ground for God.

In Galatians 6:9 (New King James Version) reads:
“And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.”

While, Joshua 1:9 (New Living Translation) reads :
“This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

So never allow yourself to give in to excuses and know that you’re not alone. We are all in this together to win our generation over.

So, what are you waiting for? Go out there and do great exploits for God! :-)

Running for the Nation!

The Re-EVOLver Crew was part of the RunNat event that took place last Saturday. Run For The Nation or RunNat is a single morning running event that sees Christians praying as they run throughout selected areas in the city or town where the event is held. The Runners are grouped into teams of three and each Team is required to cover a 5km run of a preselected route passing by homes, schools, commercial areas, government buildings, religious sites and other places of interest.

As the Team runs, one will lead in prayer while the other two will agree. With the aim to cover most grounds, the run adopts the relay style by using Prayer Cards in replacement of batons. RunNat 2009 is a nationwide event involving all 14 state capitals in the country. The Prayer Run was held simultaneously throughout the country with the guidance and leadership of each state’s RunNat Committee.

We (Darren, Wilson and Kai Wen) formed our own group and their team manager was Pragas. We had a good time of running and praying for many issues concerning our nation. As mentioned above, we prayed for the community, schools, government body, etc. We managed to finish the 5km run and we are looking forward for the 10km run next year. May a revolution take place through this event.
